- Portland’s MusicfestNW lineup has been announced. Pioneer Square will host the good folks of Iron & Wine, The Kills, Band of Horses, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and dozens more September 7-11th. Tickets go on sale Friday.
- Listen to Wilco’s closing performance at Sasquatch from Memorial Day on NPR. Sasquatch is a four day music festival at The Gorge, outside Seattle. NPR has more archived sets from the festival here.
- In Seattle, there’s an infinite inkwell high above the city and the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival. The 2011 lineup was announced today and tickets are on sale. The event takes place September 3-5th at the Seattle Center and confirmed acts include Ray LaMontagne, Broken Social Scene, Lonely Forest, Leon Russel, Vetiver, YACHT and Hall & Oates.
